We are looking for a Logistics Manager.

Responsible for: Warehouse, Customs & Transport, Production System (IPS), and Data management.
The general purpose of the job: manage, optimize, and control the materials flow, provide inventory and master data management, and implement actions and practices for Logistics quality excellence and continuous improvement.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Prepares annual logistics general expenses and assets plan and reviews logistics providers’ contracts;
• Follows and reports Logistics KPIs on a monthly and weekly basis;
• Organizes and leads regular meetings for inventory reduction, IPS committee, QRQC, etc.;
• Handles provider claims and trucks out-of-schedule issues;
• Maintains and updates the Logistics Quality System, defines and sets up the physical organization of warehouses of the BG site in conformity with the company production system (IPS) rules;
• Creates and manages procedures regarding the physical flow of materials and finished goods and stock quantities optimization;
• Monitors and improves overall warehouse organization – traffic organization, pedestrians specific zone (highway code), separated obsolete stock and non-conforming stock, ensures that there are standard operating procedures in case of incidents;
• Implements, maintains, and applies logistics methods and approaches to guarantee quality and continuous improvement – Logistics FMEA, IPS rules, repacking instructions, material flows update, warehouse KPIs indicators; Responsible for visual standardization and zone definition;
• Supervises the correctness of the data entered into the ERP system, review and timely update of the procedure for product data creation;
• Checks weekly logistic parameters included in the MPS, and MRP and updates monthly ABC Code with safety time and order interval;
• Manages the Inventory Cycle Counting and analysis gaps, leads internal periodic inventory, measures and follows up ITO, XS, Deadstock / FG, WIP, and RM, takes action to minimize the levels of all the above;
• Controls the downstream transport to ensure the best service level at the lowest cost;
• Manages any customs issues;
• Participates in the annual negotiation on downstream transport costs;
• Manages and evaluates the WH & Transport team performance, suggests training, and provides inductions for new team members;

Requirements:

• University degree in Economics or Engineering;
• Proven working experience as a Logistics Manager;
• Record of successful distribution and logistics management;
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and implemented ERP system (SAP);
• Fluent knowledge of English;
• Knowledge of import-export procedures;
• Ability to manage crises and conflicts and to handle stress;
• Ability to anticipate problems and react adequately;
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills;
• Ability to lead and manage staff;
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
